It is the first short feature film made in Ukraine two month after the beginning of big war in 2022. It was shot in the town of Borodyanka near Kyiv. All devastation shown in the film is authentic. Russian troops were thrown back from the region only two weeks ago. The city still had no electricity, water and heating. The dead bodies of local residents were still lying under the rubble of some of the destroyed buildings shown in the film. While driving to the location set production cars were passing destroyed military equipment and corpses of Russian soldiers that were left after the army withdrawn. As a director I wasn't sure how many of the crew members would be willing to return on the set next day. Eventually everyone has returned. At a 6th week of war everybody were in the deep state of shock, numbness and uncertainty. Despite the horror of devastations the short preparation period and shooting of the film had an effect of big psychological relief on every member of the crew.
